Casa Interiors, located within the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, was first established in 2008 and is owned and run by Paula Marie Farmer.
Paula is qualified in Professional Interior Design – including Decorative Paint Finishes and Perspective Drawing, as well as having many years experience in event planning and organising. Paula has always had a passion for interiors and the home along with a strong desire for wanting to make things look their best. “I have so many influences”, she says, “I have a great appreciation of nature and other cultures and I especially love the regions of Tuscany in Italy and Midi Pyrenees in France.
I have always liked the Italian style and can just picture the Tuscan countryside with its rolling hills, scattered with olive and cypress trees – creating a beautiful backdrop to the vibrant yellow painted houses with green-washed shutters. The venetian style is also very wonderful with many properties housing exquisite interiors of marble floors and four poster beds and an eclectic array of wonderful furniture”.
“On the other hand”, she goes on, “I am a lover of modern trends and fashion. For example, a new build full of innovative ideas with floor to ceiling walls of glass, and mezzanines housing state of the art technology has me very excited too!”
“I am a firm believer that creativity is all about having an open mind and not being afraid to experiment. Never be afraid to try something new and look at things in a different way. There really is no right or wrong way – there should be no rules.”
